Direct Service Position (Substitutes and Temporary)
Direct service positions providing training, assistance, support and supervision to the adults with disabilities in a center based day program. Production, cleaning, projects, psycho-social, community and recreational activities are implemented to stimulate development of positive behaviors and skills while providing an enriching program atmosphere.
Job Requirements
Must be 18 years or older with a HS diploma or equivalent and a valid PA/NJ drivers license with a clean driving record. Positive interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with others is required in addition to basic math, reading and writing skills. Job requires prolonged standing, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to meet quality control standards and demonstrate job flexibility. Toileting, feeding and ambulation is included as a mandatory job function.
Salary: $9.00-9.50 Salary Base: hourly
Hours: 8:30-2:30 Days: Mon-Fri Status: full-time
Location: Washington, Phillipsburg, Hackettstown
