Center-Based Employment Services
Our Community Rehabilitation Program offers Center-Based Employment Services. These services assist in developing vocational goals by providing work experience in a structured supervised setting in order to develop work habits, behaviors, interpersonal skill, stamina, work performance and adjustment to the work routine.
Employees engage in contract work involving packaging, assembly, collating and
silk screen printing. Legal guidelines for work measurement and wage payment
are followed. See the Business Services Department for details regarding contract work.
Center-Based Employment Services include service coordination through goal-oriented planning,advocacy, and linkages with other resources and services. Vocational objectives are identified in order to assist in developing employment outcomes that are based on individual preferences, strengths, abilities and needs.
While enrolled in Center-Based Employment Services, each person's potential for community employment is assessed on a regular basis. Individuals participating in Center-Based Employment Services are afforded the opportunity to access Community Employment Services and are informed of job opportunities consistent with their interests, capabilities and vocational goals.
